While Montana is a fantastic vacation destination all year long, spring and the beginning of summer mark the start of its busiest travel period. In fact, our team at Journey Rent-A-Car loves visiting Yellowstone in the spring since there are lots of baby animals to watch, it’s less crowded, and the weather is warming up. Read on to learn what to expect when you visit Montana in the spring.

If visiting Yellowstone and Glacier National Park is on your Montana Bucket List, your best bet is to try for the end of spring, in June. Also, you can camp at Mammoth Campground and go hiking in the park. On your trip, think about participating in an activity led by a ranger!
